Country Manager – Ha Noi, Vietnam

Today, SwipeRx connects over 280,000 pharmacy professionals from 55,000 pharmacies which reach more than 150 million patients every month. 1 in every 3 licensed pharmacists across Southeast Asia use SwipeRx to access online education and training, access industry information, and procure their inventory through our B2B e-commerce platform.

To support our mission, SwipeRx is now looking for a Viet Nam Country Manager. We need a highly ambitious and dynamic individual with the drive to excel. The Country Manager for Viet Nam will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with pharmacy industry partners as well as pharmacy professional associations and the Ministry of Health to increase pharmacy engagement through our platform and associated impact measures. In addition, the Country Manager Viet Nam will be responsible for building and motivating a network of Medical Representatives to achieve pharmacy activation targets for public health programs.

Your role

  • Establish and build strong partnerships with key pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and pharmaceutical associations.
  • Negotiate support from public sector actors for SwipeRx initiatives, including Departments of Health in prioritized provinces.
  • Interpret digital surveys, SwipeRx analytics and other market data to help clients understand the pharmacy channel in Viet Nam.
  • Negotiate contracts and growth plans with current and prospective industry and public sector partners.
  • Identify strategies for user engagement of SwipeRx users in Viet Nam.
  • Provide strategic guidance to pharmacy activation team in Cambodia, to align with regional best practices.
  • Work closely with the SVP Public Health, other Viet Nam-based team members and regional experts.


Your Qualifications

  • Possess a relevant bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus.
    Minimum 10 years hands-on working experience in sales, operations, distribution in the pharmacy channel.
  • Prior experience managing a network of Medical Reps or pharmacy-focused sales agents.
  • Thorough understanding of Viet Nam’s public health system and demonstrated ability to secure public sector support for private sector contributions to health.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    Ability to plan, organize and prioritize, and to work independently.
  • Solution-oriented, “yes we can” approach to problem solving.
