SwipeRx Teaches the Next Generation of Pharmacists About Marketing and Branding Strategies

SwipeRx believes the future of pharmacy goes far beyond dispensing medicine, it’s about developing healthcare leaders who can shape stronger, healthier communities.

In a recent guest lecture at one of our partner universities, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, our Vice President Marketing, Imanuel Hutagalung, spoke to undergraduate Pharmacy and postgraduate Hospital Management students on Marketing Strategies & Customer Management, essential capabilities for those aiming to lead in the healthcare industry.

Imanuel Hutagalung, underscored that “Products are made in factories, but brands are built in the minds of people.” He outlined the core pillars of effective brand building:

🎯Brand Naming, selecting names that are meaningful, positive, memorable and easy to pronounce.

🎯Brand Identity, creating a consistent and recognizable presence through packaging, internal and external branding, and strong visual design.

🎯Brand Development, advancing from brand awareness, to customer loyalty, and ultimately to enduring brand equity.

The session also explored customer management fundamentals, including understanding different customer types, engaging them effectively, and offering solutions that foster trust and long-term relationships.

By sharing this knowledge, SwipeRx continues its mission to equip pharmacists and future healthcare professionals with both the clinical and the strategic skills necessary to thrive, and lead, in today’s evolving healthcare landscape.
