For 106 years, the Philippine Pharmacists Association, Inc. (PPhA) has been part of the story of pharmacy in the Philippines. Its legacy is a reminder that the future of the profession depends not only on knowledge and expertise, but also on the values pharmacists uphold and the impact they make in the lives of the people they serve.
SwipeRx joined PPhA in celebrating its 106th Founding Anniversary at the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City, in collaboration with the PPhA Iloilo–Guimaras Chapter. Held under the theme “106 Years of Legacy: Am I a Pharmacist of V.A.L.U.E.?”, the celebration brought the profession’s enduring legacy and future aspirations into focus.
Representing SwipeRx at the celebration was Rommel Claveria, SwipeRx Country Manager.. SwipeRx was honored to be acknowledged by PPhA as a partner in this milestone celebration, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting pharmacy professionals and advancing the pharmacy profession. The occasion also brought together PPhA leaders, including Dr. Kenny James P. Merin, RPh., Executive Secretary; Atty. Irish Mombay-Figura, RPh., Vice President for Visayas; and Dr. Adelina C. Royo, RPh., President of PPhA.
