SwipeRx Continues Partnership with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) for the Third Year

SwipeRx is proud to continue our partnership with the  Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), working closely with Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry execution.

Now in its third year, this collaboration has evolved into more than just an academic initiative,  it’s a platform where future leaders are shaped through real challenges that matter. This year, students worked with over 8 million transaction records to build demand forecasting models, develop product classification frameworks, and design optimized inventory and stocking strategies for pharmacies. More importantly, they were challenged to think beyond analysis — to make decisions grounded in real-world complexity.

Under the mentorship of our Chief Commercial Officer, Brennan Leong, two student teams from SUTD were encouraged to approach problems not just as learners, but as practitioners. At the final showcase on April 24, Team #14 – Davina Nadine Tanaya, Wu Rui Teh, Wong Xin Yi Jolyn, and Chester Yeo Kian Beng and Team #13 — Anchita Kharbanda, Daryl Cheong Kah How, Mayur Vengali  Giri, Chia Yan Zhen Jamie, and Ezekiel Lim Rae Ern — shared thoughtful insights from their work.

It was also meaningful to see the experience through the students’ perspective, including reflections shared by Lee Shaw Kiat (Kevin).

At SwipeRx, we believe that strengthening healthcare systems starts with investing in people. Through long-term partnerships like this, we are not only contributing to education, but also helping shape the next generation of leaders who will drive impact across Southeast Asia.
