Last week SwipeRx hosted 31 pharmacy association leaders and pharmacy-focused organizations from 8 countries to plan the development of an open access digital toolkit. Pharmacists from Cambodia, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Senegal, Togo and Vietnam met to review best practices related to digital adult learning, accredited continuous professional development and pharmacy access to contraceptives. Using SwipeRx’s tech expertise and deep knowledge of the pharmacy channel combined with pharmacist feedback from Nigeria, Vietnam and Senegal, the toolkit is designed to facilitate scaled quality improvement of #contraceptivechoice through the pharmacy channel globally. With support from the @Gates Foundation, this initiative is facilitating region-to-region exchange of innovative digital strategies for engaging fragmented pharmacies to improve public health outcomes.
